NH Entrepreneur Partners With International Medical Boutiques

Published Thursday Jul 16, 2015

SleekSleeves, a specialty retailer of medical fashion accessories, recently announced two new partnerships with internationally based medical boutiques. BodyMed Boutique in Ontario, Canada, and Malliah of Tokyo, Japan, both of which will be selling SleekSleeves products in their respective countries. While SleekSleeves, which launched in 2012 and is headquartered in Manchester, currently ships all over the world, the agreements make it easier for consumers in Canada and Japan to access the product line.

SleekSleeves line of colorful fabric covers offer fashion and function to individuals facing medical and orthopedic challenges. "Listening to our end users and their support teams has informed our product development and distribution decisions," said Beth Mokas of SleekSleeves in Manchester. "When customers take the time to write you thank you notes, and ask for brochures to share with their Cancer
Centers, you know you're moving in the right direction. This year, we¹ve seen a steep uptick in international sales, with the UK, Canada, Japan and Australia leading the pack. Retailers in these countries have been asking to sell our products for over a year and we feel that it¹s the right time to extend our international reach."

The company claims retailers from many countries have contacted them to distribute the medical fashion line. "More and more of our customers are asking for SleekSleeves," said Barb Daize-Mason, owner of the BodyMed Boutique. "In my nursing career I saw the true needs of patients with cancer and offer only products that make a difference in their daily lives.

The BodyMed Boutique offers a range of children¹s and adult size Arm Bands for covering PICC Lines.

Malia Nakashima, owner of Malliah, also cited customer demand as the reason she sought to carry SleekSleeves in her catalog.

Offered in 18 solid, print and lace fabrics, SleekSleeves medical fashion products cover PICC Lines, OmniPods, orthopedic braces and more. Among the newest items in the line are Kimmies,
Tie-to-Fit Head Scarves, and Bandeaus for face, neck and head coverage. To learn more about SleekSleeves, visit www.sleeksleeves.com.
