Granite State Ranks High for Patriotism

With Americans preparing to show their national pride this Fourth of July, WalletHub has released a report on 2017's Most Patriotic States in America.

To determine where Americans bleed the most red, white and blue, WalletHub compared all 50 states across 13 key indicators of patriotism. The data set ranges from average number of military enlistees to share of adults who voted in the 2016 presidential election to AmeriCorps volunteers per capita.   • 1st – Civics Education Requirement
  • 4th – % of Adults Who Voted in 2016 Presidential Election
  • 11th – Volunteer Hours per Resident
  • 11th – AmeriCorps Volunteers per Capita
  • 12th – Peace Corps Volunteers per Capita
  • 14th – Volunteer Rate
  • 17th – Veterans per 1,000 Civilian Adult Population
  • 29th – Average Number of Military Enlistees per 1,000 Civilian Adults Population (No Prior Service)
