A Grape Affair, a Portsmouth company specializing in educating people about wine, is offering several classes for hospitality professionals this fall.

Uncorked 101
Mondays,September 8th to October 13th
3:00 - 5:00 pm, $55.00 per class or 6 classes for $305.00

Tuesday nights, September 23rd to October 28th 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Classes provide a foundation of knowledge for hospitality professionals, and the Uncorked 101 Series covers the essentials of wine tasting, grape varieties, basic viniculture and viticulture, and the world's most important wine producing regions.

Uncorked 101 is for beginners or those who wish to solidify a foundation in wine studies and practice wine tasting. Hospitality Servers will find this course invaluable.

Mondays, October 20th to November 10th
3:00 to 5:00 Four weeks $195.00

Tuesdays, November 4th to November 25th

Uncorked Level 2 Course will provide you with proficiency in the field of wine. Classes will focus on the world's most important geographical areas and include comprehensive comparative tastings. There are four two-hour classes.

Pre-registration is required for Level 2.
