In the spotlight: Purity Spring Resort in East Madison appointed Jill and Aaron Marineau to their respective roles as general manager and food and beverage director. The couple relocated from San Diego, California, in May and have been working with staff preparing for the summer season. Jill has 30 years experience in the hospitality industry in sales and operations. Aaron has 25 years’ experience and is bringing catering in-house to create more options for guests.

The accounting firm of Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA hired Michael J. Stevens, CPA as tax manager. Stevens specializes in partnerships and S corporations, multistate taxation, mergers and acquisitions, tax compliance and consulting, and high-net-worth individual taxation.

Shoppers at the Monadnock Food Co-op collectively donated $5,699 to the Monadnock Localvores Jeffrey P. Smith Farm Scholarship Program during their month-long "Round It Up" donation drive in May.

Members First Credit Union presented a check for $1,000 to Easterseals NH at the site of the credit union’s new headquarters, scheduled to open later this summer. Through the NH VIP Campaign, Members First has worked with Easterseals board member Tom Sullivan, manager of Sullivan Construction, the firm building the bank's headquarters in Manchester.

North Branch Construction in Concord was recognized at the Associated Builders and Contractors of NH/VT 2021 Safety Awards Presentation with First Place Construction Safety Performance - Zero Cases Resulting in Lost Workdays and Most Creative Safety Program. Bank of New Hampshire promoted Deigh Cormiea to Lincoln banking office manager. She will oversee all daily operations of the office and has over 19 years of banking experience.

Taylor Caswell, commissioner of the Department of Business and Economic Affairs (BEA), was confirmed for his second term, by the Executive Council. He was appointed as the first commissioner of BEA in 2017. He is the state’s chief economic official.
