Wireless routers, for better or worse, are a daily part of life now that iPads and laptops have mostly replaced wired desktops and smart phones as the main mode of communication. They are far from problem free, though. Between dead spots and lower speeds based on the distance from the router, to security issues, they can be a necessary evil in people's lives.
