Sheehan Phinney in Manchester elected shareholder Michael J. Lambert (pictured) as president and managing director. He also serves as chair of the firm's Management Committee. The firm has five regional offices and over 75 attorneys. Changes to the Firm’s five-person Management Committee were also announced with Robert H. Miller serving as chair of the Litigation Department; Mark J. Ventola as chair of the Corporate Department, and Courtney H.G Herz as the new ‘At-Large' member for the firm’s NH offices. Lambert has served on the firm’s Management Committee since 2015, most recently as chair of the Litigation Department.

Katelyn Welch, a structural engineer at Hoyle Tanner & Associates in Manchester, has been selected by a jury of her peers from NH’s engineering societies as the 2024 NH Young Engineer of the Year. The award will be presented on Feb. 22 at the annual Engineers’ Week banquet in Concord. Welch was nominated by Structural Engineers of NH. Welch earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering at the University of NH. She began her career with Hoyle Tanner & Associates as an intern in 2015 and has rapidly advanced her career to her current role as structural engineer.

Step Up Parents in Portsmouth received a $55,000 grant award from the Oliver J. and Dorothy Penniman Hubbard New Futures Fund, Philbrook Children's Fund at the NH Charitable Foundation. The grant will provide funding to support organizational growth, capacity building, and programming for the nonprofit, which provides financial assistance and other support to families caring for children whose parents suffer from substance use disorder.

Dr. Hector Iweka, VP of academic affairs at NHTI—Concord’s Community College will become  college’s VP of academic and workforce education, starting on Feb. 9. Iweka came to the college in 2023 with 15 years’ experience in administrative roles and 17 years’ experience in course development and teaching at higher education institutions including government, private, and community colleges. He has also held leadership roles in the corporate environment for more than 20 years.

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover awarded a $25,000 community benefit grant to Waypoint to assist in the continued operation of the Drop-In Center in Rochester, which allows homeless or unsheltered youth in the Seacoast region to access various community-based services.

Easterseals NH & VT in Manchester appointed a new executive committee: Bryan Bouchard, a full-time faculty member in the Accountancy and Taxation Department at Southern NH University School of Business, as chair; Tom Sullivan, president of Sullivan Construction, as vice chair; Bradford Cook, head of several practice groups at Sheehan Phinney, as secretary; and Paul Voegelin, COO at Sheehan Phinney, as treasurer.

Admix, a manufacturer of mixing, blending, dispersing, and milling products in Londonderry, appointed Santino Zingales as director of sales. Santino has spent his career in sales, specializing in mixing and blending equipment.
