Cornerstone VNA, a nonprofit home health and hospice care organization based in Rochester, elected Austin Cornish to the board of directors. Cornish, a resident of Rochester, works in wealth management at Morgan Stanley.

Following its recent acquisition of 100 Domain Drive in Exeter, Torrington Properties signed Peak Achievement Athletics to a new, long term lease extension. Peak is the parent company of Bauer Hockey and Cascade and Maverik Lacrosse. Bauer has been in NH for more than 25 years, and 100 Domain is the company’s global headquarters.

Donna Ward, broker/owner of EXIT Reward Realty, was appointed president of the Lakes Region Board of Realtors.

Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) in Concord pledged $10,000 toward Granite VNA in Concord to support their Community Engagement and Benefit Initiative. Funded through tax credits, the contribution will help extend Granite VNA’s Community Health Programming into the Lakes Region by renovating their Laconia location.

NHTrust contributed $3,000 to the Neighbor Helping Neighbor Fund, established with five Community Action Agencies to help NH residents struggling to pay their energy bills. The money will be used to help those who may be facing an energy emergency but don’t qualify for federally funded energy assistance programs.

Ledyard National Bank in Hanover donated $1,500 each to the Capital Region Food Program of Concord, the Chapin Senior Center of New London and Twin Pines Housing in White River Junction, VT.

Canterbury Shaker Village received two challenge gifts that will each match up to $5,000 in donations to its Annual Fund appeal from new donors. Matches from new donors will be capped at $500 per individual contribution.

Fimbel Garage Doors in Merrimack recently hosted their 2023 holiday party and sold raffle tickets to raise money for the Lewiston-Auburn Area Response Fund through Maine Community Foundation.
