Concord Hospital Health System Concord named Veronica Rosa as chief advancement officer for the health system. She most recently served as VP of advancement for Keene State College. Prior to that, she held executive level positions in marketing and philanthropy at both UMass Memorial Hospital–HealthAlliance and Charlton Memorial Hospital in Massachusetts.

Cornerstone Government Affairs, a government relations, public affairs and consulting firm, opened an office in Concord. The office includes Marc Goldberg, former chief of staff for Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH), and Mike Vlacich, former senior advisor to Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Biden appointee at the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Plymouth State University named Joanne Landers, Ph.D., as VP for enrollment management and communications. She previously served as VP of enrollment management at Saint Elizabeth University in New Jersey.

The NH Liquor Commission raised $60,000 in support of local NH animal rescue and therapeutic organizations through their first-ever scotch whiskey raffle.

The University of NH in Durham ranked third in the nation for free speech based on a new national report from the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) and College Pulse that ranked the free speech climate of 248 of America’s most prestigious colleges and universities. This 2024 report marks the second time in three years UNH has finished number three in the FIRE rankings.
