Tom Coffey, senior VP of sales and consulting of Merchants Fleet, a fleet management company based in Hooksett, has been inducted into the Fleet Hall of Fame by the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association.

DHL Supply Chain broke ground on a 27,000-square-foot expansion of its distribution center in Bow, which houses products sold in New Hampshire’s 67 NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations and by more than 6,200 licensees across the state. To keep pace with the NH Liquor Commission’s (NHLC) sales growth, the distribution center will increase its capacity by 200,000 cases, from 1.2 million cases to 1.4 million cases. The expansion of the DHL Supply Chain distribution center, which currently spans 244,000 square-feet, is expected to be completed by spring 2023. NHLC and DHL Supply Chain celebrated the expansion earlier today with a groundbreaking ceremony.

Franklin Savings Bank promoted Nancy Watson to AVP, Branch Manager-Boscawen, Jon Cayton to AVP, Branch Manager-Franklin, and Shelbie Swanson to Branch Manager-Gilford. Watson joined the bank in 1985 as a Teller at our Bristol office, then transitioned into our loan operations department as a Loan Processor. In 2009, she was appointed Branch Manager of the bank’s former New Hampton office and later moved to the Boscawen office. Cayton began his career with FSB in 2018 as Branch Manager of the main office in downtown Franklin.  He assumed oversight of the customer contact center earlier in the year. Swanson started with the bank in 2018 as a Personal Banker at our Gilford office and was later elevated to Personal Banker II, then Personal Banker III & Retail Trainer.

Southern NH Health (SNHH)  in Nashua established a charitable foundation to support programs, services, and initiatives across its health system. The establishment of Legacy Trust is a new chapter for SNHH, which is comprised of Southern NH Medical Center and Foundation Medical Partners, a multi-specialty physician group.

Nearly 200 people attended the 11th annual Salute Our Soldiers Gala in Nashua on Nov. 12. Hosted by the Nashua Chapter of Easterseals NH Veterans Count, the event raised more than $160,000 for direct assistance to veterans and military members statewide.

The 10 NH Conservation Districts announce twelve grant recipients for the 2022 NH Conservation Districts Climate Resilience Grant: Bascom Road Blueberry Farm of Newport, Boggy Meadow Farm of Walpole, Brookfield Farm of Alstead, Gentile Family Homestead of Fitzwilliam, Green Bough Fam of North Haverhill, LindenWoods Farm of Durham, LocaBerry at Emery Farm of Durham, Meristem Flower Farm of Strafford, Picadilly Farm of Winchester, Robinson Family Farm of Pittsbury, Tellman Hill Farm of Whitefield, and Winter Street Farm of Claremont. The NH Conservation Districts Climate Resilience Grant proudly distributed $50,000 among these twelve farms. The mission of the NH Conservation Districts Climate Resilience Grant is to support and empower local farmers to build climate resilience throughout the Granite State.

Savings Bank of Walpole was named a 2022 Best Bank to Work For in the United States for the sixth consecutive year by American Banker Magazine.   SBW ranked number 59 out of 90 banks named on the “Best Banks” list – which represents the top 2% of community banks in the country. SBW was one of only two banks from NH to be included and one of seven banks in New England to make the list.
