In the Spotlight: TFMoran provided surveying, civil/site design, structural engineering, permitting, traffic analysis, landscape architecture and construction administration services for this new 3-story, 18,000-square-foot Members First Credit Union headquarters building. The new building, designed by DeStefano | Maugel Architects, features a brick façade with high architectural details, making it a good fit for the Manchester North End neighborhood. Sullivan Construction of Bedford, NH was the general contractor.

The Meredith Village Savings Bank Fund, at NH Charitable Foundation, makes grant-based contributions to nonprofit organizations that enrich and improve the quality of life for residents living in the Bank’s service areas. Local nonprofits who wish to apply can do so prior to October 15.

Colliers, a global commercial real estate services firm, facilitated the sale of 14 Technology Drive in Bedford. The 88,214 SF building sits on almost 18 acres. Formerly the headquarters for Segway, Inc., the building features 11 loading docks and a drive-in door. Bob Rohrer and Doug Martin, of Colliers’ Manchester office, represented the Seller, Segway, Inc., and procured the Buyer, LSNE Contract Manufacturing, in the transaction.

Savings Bank of Walpole in Keene named Lindsey Swett branch manager of the Bank’s new Winchester location which is slated to open in October. The Winchester branch will be the Bank’s sixth location. Swett has worked at the Bank in various capacities for 17 years. Most recently she served as a universal banker at the Bank’s Court Street location.

The Regional Economic Development Center in Raymond has created a Virtual Entrepreneur Resource Center, an ever-growing online resource for small business owners, filled with tips, advice, and motivation from the REDC staff. From business sustainability to simple marketing recommendations to accounting tips, REC shares knowledge to help empower business owner.

Community Partners in Dover, acting as the fiscal agent for the Council for Youth with Chronic Conditions hired Audrey Gerkin as the Council Administrator.  The CYCC works to educate and inform policy makers and stakeholders about the chronic health needs for 55,000 NH children to ensure they have affordable access to care, and supportive home and community environments.

Plymouth State University recently honored faculty and staff whose work and commitment have distinguished both themselves and the University. Awardees were recognized after being nominated by colleagues who detailed their co-workers’ outstanding accomplishments and service.
