In the spotlight: NHTrust hired Mary Obara as trust administrator. Prior to joining NHTrust, Obara worked as a teller trainer and later teller administrator for sister company, Merrimack County Savings Bank. NHTrust also hired Junior Boley as wealth management assistant. Prior to joining NHTrust, Boley worked as a teller at NH Community Federal Credit Union. Both Obara and Boley will be based in Concord.

Clark & Lavey Benefits Solutions, Inc. raised $11,285 for Veterans Count, a charity and assistance program for veterans and military families, and the philanthropic arm of Easterseals NH military and veteran Services. Clark & Lavey raised the funds through Vets & Pets, a gift card drive they created to support veterans and their service animals.

Service Credit Union renewed its partnership with the American Independence Museum with an investment of $5,000 to support its Traveling Trunk program, which delivers experiential learning to the classroom. Expected to travel more than 17,000 miles in 2022, school districts throughout the U.S. will continue to have access for free.

Ledyard National Bank in Hanover donated $10,000 to New England Healing Sports Association (NEHSA), which helps those with disabilities by increasing their participation in adaptive, outdoor sports. NEHSA was awarded $200K in CFDA Tax Credits to complete a new lodge in 2019.

The NH Liquor Commission (NHLC) opened two new NH Liquor & Wine Outlets in New London and Littleton and relocated the 10,000-square-foot Littleton Outlet to a freestanding building in the Kilburn Ledge Plaza.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock opened a new otolaryngology, which covers head and neck surgery as well as audiology, office in Concord. James E. Snyder, MD, will see patients with ear, nose and throat disorders.

Cheshire Medical Center in Keene hired Cara Weiner, PA-C, to the orthopaedics department. She has previous clinical experience in orthopaedics at Cheshire, as well as Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in and Brigham & Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.

Prolman Realty, Inc. in Nashua facilitated the sale of 78 Northeastern Blvd. Unit 3 & 4 Nashua to Breakthrough Behavioral and Educational Consultants. According to Lisa Ferrari, who represented GL Perkins Real Estate (Seller) and assisted the buyer, the 4,800 square foot free-standing office condominium is in the Northbridge Business Center and shall be the second location for the buyer who has an office in Amherst d.b.a. KIN:PATHIC.  According to The Hillsborough Country Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $330,000.

White Mountain Rotary, a part of Rotary International, welcomed its newest member, Chrissy Grant, MSEd, Coordinator of Educational Partnerships and Access at White Mountains Community College in Berlin, where she coordinates the dual enrollment programs.
