Lakes Region Community Developers cut the ribbon on its latest healthy housing project, Gilford Village Knolls III, which provides 24 affordable apartments for seniors in Gilford Village. This is the third phase of the Gilford Village Knolls campus, which was the vision of a local citizens group that formed in the 1980s to develop affordable housing for seniors in Gilford.

Hoyle, Tanner & Associates has hired Patrick Sharrow, AAE as an airport planner. Sharrow has more than 15 years of experience in the airline and aviation management industry. Heidi Marshall, PE, has been hired as a senior engineer with more than 30 years of experience providing municipal engineering services to communities, large and small.

Members First Credit Union in Manchester recently awarded $7,500 in scholarships. The $2,500 Michael L. Briggs Scholarship went to Nicole Robitaille of Strafford; the $1,000 Wilbur L. Jenkins Scholarship went to Emily O’Keefe of Bedford; the $1,000 John S. Walsh Scholarship; went to Katherine Dubois of Manchester; and three $1,000 Members First Memorial Scholarship went to Jacqueline Cardin of Manchester, Jordan Durand of Meredith and Olivia Renee Gagne of Goffstown.

Four North Branch Construction employees were honored at the Associated Builders and Contractors of NH/VT Annual Merit Shop Night held June, 28. The firm celebrated the graduation of Gabriele Di Nicola, project manager/estimator, and Chad Sawin, quality control/service manager, from the Future Leaders in Construction program. In addition, Luc Carrier and Kyle Scheibert each received a certificate of professional achievement in construction supervision for their completion of the ABC NH/VT Superintendent Certificate Program.

Jewett Construction has hired Dave Littlefield as project estimator. He joins Jewett following several years working in both estimating and project management roles at one of New England’s leading general contractors.

Earl Prolman of New York Life’s NH General Office , representing the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation, presented a grant to support the Y's Power Scholars Academy to help Nashua youth who are behind grade level in math or literacy catch up rather than slip further behind during the summer.

Dr. Rochelle Lindner (Lindner Dental Associates), Dr. Joshua Howard (JD Howard Dental, LLC) and Dr. Dimitris Zourdos (Dental by Design) were chosen for their demonstrated excellence as practitioners and thought leaders in dentistry.
