In the Spotlight: Citizens Bank recently gave a $15,000 grant to Families in Transition, a homeless shelter in Manchester. The grant is part of a larger initiative to provide $250,000 in grants to local non-profits across the Bank’s footprint.

Amy Nea has joined the emergency department of Cheshire Medical Center in Keene. Prior to this, Neal was a physician assistant at Convenient MD in Keene.

The Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) presented its 2017 Leadership Awards at its Annual Women Business Leaders Conference. Judith Maloy, director and CEO of Polaris Direct, accepted the award for the CWE 2017 Women’s Business of the Year. This award is given to a woman-owned business that has exhibited growth through innovation or strategic partnership.

St. Mary’s Bank rin Manchester ecently announced the promotion of Lisa Viau to senior vice president, director of operations. Viau joined St. Mary’s Bank in 2001 and has overseen the credit union’s member contact center, internet banking, and training teams.

Gateways Community Services in Nashua recently received a $10,500 grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation’s Fund for Accessible Living to provide families with modifications to their home that will increase their independence, self-care, and participation in the community.
