TD Bank in Portsmouth hired Lisa Gainty, former branch manager at Citizens Bank in Portsmouth, as VP store manager.

Drummond Woodsum in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Maine promoted Mark Broth to partner in charge of its NH offices. Previously, Broth served as a shareholder and a member of the firm’s labor and employment group.

Dartmouth College in Hanover hired Andrew Davidson as VP for development. Before working at Dartmouth, Davidson was dean of development at Harvard’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the faculty of arts and sciences in Mass.

The Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications in Manchester posthumously awarded James Foley, a journalist killed by ISIS forces in Syria this past summer and Wolfeboro native, its First Amendment Award for his drive and sacrifice for providing a voice to those oppressed and threatened by constant and senseless violence.

The American Health Care Association in D.C. and the National Center for Assisted Living in D.C. awarded the Courville at Manchester, Aynsley Place in Nashua, and Carlyle Place in Bedford all the 2014 Bronze Commitment to Quality Award for dedication to quality care.

The NH Association of Broadcasters in Manchester named Peter St. James as the 2014 Broadcaster of the Year. St. James is the host of WTPL-FM’s “NH Wake Up Show” in Bow. The association also named WZID-FM and WMUR, both in Manchester, as Station of the Year for radio and television, respectively.
