Chamber and Concord Hospital Host Technology Forum

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and Concord Hospital is presenting a Hospital Technology Forum: How State-of-the-Art Technology is Transforming Medical Care in Your Community on Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Marriott Courtyard, Grappone Conference Center in Concord. The event is open to Chamber members and the general public and is sponsored by Granite Ledges of Concord. The cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members and includes lunch.

Concord Hospital identifies and applies new or promising technologies and therapies, and information technology serves as a compass in helping the hospital achieve its strategic priorities to improve patient outcomes.

The forum includes a brief presentation followed by a discussion on technology being used at Concord Hospital including: Simulation Education, da Vinci Robotic-Assisted Surgery, Radiation Treatment On-Board Imaging, Computerized Provider Order Entry, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. Presenters include: Christopher Fore, MD; William Santis, MD, FACS; Thomas Sheldon, MD; Joel Berman, MD; and Karl Lanocha, MD.
