Jewett Automotive Design & Construction, a division of Jewett Construction Company, Inc. in Raymond, contracted with AutoServ Dealer Group in Tilton to build an infill addition and renovate its Ford and Chrysler dealerships in Tilton.

Ecole Chocolat Professional School of Chocolate Arts in Calif. hired Richard Tango-Lowy as the flavor coach for its online Chocolate Bootcamp program. Tango-Lowy is the master chocolatier and owner of Dancing Lion Chocolate in Manchester.

The EPA awarded $600,000 in Brownfield grants, one to the City of Manchester for $200,000 and the other to the Southwest Region Planning Commission in Keene for $400,000, to assist cleanup of contaminated parcels. The agency also provided Targeted Brownfields Assessment  assistance worth $115,000 to Monadnock Economic Development Corp. in Keene for assessment work at Old Keene Landfill in Keene.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon hired Gay Landstrom as its chief nursing officer. Landstrom was formerly the Senior VP and chief nursing officer at Trinity Health Group in Mich.

Sterling Linen Services in Manchester received a $28,000 incentive from Liberty Utilities in Ga. for the implementation of its Xeros Commercial Laundry System, which uses a polymer bead technology that reduces natural gas usage up to 100% and water usage by up to 8-0%.

Virginia Lupi, previously the director of the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes in N.Y., was confirmed as the director of the NH Department of Cultural Resources' Division of theArts in Concord.
