Centrix Bank of Bedford pledged $15,000 to The Clipper Foundation of Portsmouth. The contribution was granted on behalf of the Centrix Bank Community Investment Program.

Latulip was VP of Section 1031 Exchange Services at the company from 2002 to 2009. She is the owner of Newbridge Exchange, LLC in Littleton and regional VP of retail & commercial lending at Union Bank in Littleton.

Attorney Ovide M. Lamontagne of Devine Millimet in Manchester was elected chair of the Bishop's Charitable Assistance Fund in Manchester. The fund enables the Bishop of Manchester, through a board of directors, to make grants for nonprofit organizations for projects that help those in NH meet basic needs.

The Village at RiverMead in Peterborough will utilize a geothermal system for its heating and cooling needs provided by Wellspring Geothermal of Brentwood. The standing column well geothermal system utilizes six wells drilled 1,500 feet deep into the bedrock at the site.

Merrimack County Savings Bank in Concord granted $17,000 to The Concord Area Trust for Community Housing (CATCH) Home Buyer and Financial Success Center in Concord. The grant will help CATCH provide families with stable, affordable housing.

Brookstone Builders, Inc., construction managers and general contractors in Manchester, completed a new construction project for Southwestern Community Services in Keene. The project consisted of the construction of an 8,400 square foot transitional housing facility located on 6 acres of land off Route 101.

Actio Corporation, makers of software for product regulatory assessment and compliance solutions in Portsmouth, announced that the software, Material Disclosure, received one of the highest scores possible in the 2013 Environmental Leader Technology Reviews Program. The software earned 4.5 starts out of a possible 5 in the Environmental Leader Technology Reviews Program.

Law firm Donchess & Notinger, PC in Nashua announced that Steven M. Notinger was named as 2013's The Best Lawyers in America.

US Airways, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport's second largest air carrier added a daily jet service to hubs in Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC. US Airways increased service between Manchester and Washington-National from three to four daily round trips.

The Walnut Hill Agency of Amherst merged with Davis & Towle Insurance Group of Amherst, Concord, Franklin, Henniker, and Hillsborough. Don Carper, III will continue to serve as manager of the newly formed agency, David & Towle Walnut Hill, LLC, with Jeffery K. Towle acting as president of the agency.

Linda Morris, president of AVH Auxiliary at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, presented Russell Keene, CEO, with a $30,000 check to purchase an RFA Halo System for Surgical Services. The donation was a direct result of funds raised from the annual AVH Auxiliary Golf Tournament.

The Homemakers Health Services of Rochester appointed Heidi Roberts-Morrison as its new director of clinical services. Roberts-Morrison previously served as a national nurse manager with AllOne Health Resources in Mass., where she supervised 25 nurses. She also served at the Naval Branch Health Clinic in Portsmouth. She is a 20-year U.S. Navy Nurse Corps Officer.

Terry Large, resident of Bow, was named Public Service of New Hampshire's director of customer operations. Large has over 29 years of experience with PSNH and its parent corporation, Northeast Utilities. PSNH is headquarted in Manchester.

In Concord, Joshua Smith joined Community Bridges as director of residential and day services. Community Bridges is an agency that advances the integration, growth, and interdependence of people experiencing disabilities within their home communities.

Hardman Companies of Milford selected Prolman Reality, Inc. in Nashua and Grubb & Ellis|Northern New England in Manchester to bring two retail shopping centers to the market. Merrimack Commons in Merrimack consists of 86,136 square feet on 13.2 acres, and Granite Town Plaza in Milford consists of 109,069 square feet on 18.3 acres. Both centers are anchored by Tractor Supply.

New England College of Henniker was named to President Obama's 2013 Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.

Lincoln Financial Foundation of Concord presented $138,833 in grants to eight local nonprofit organizations to strengthen art education opportunities. The NH Institute of Art in Manchester a $60,000 grant over three years to create the Lincoln Financial Community After-School Program. Other donations include: $20,000 to the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord; $13,633 to Red River Theatres in Concord; $12,500 to the Concord Community Music School in Concord; $11,000 to the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester; $10,000 to the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough; $8,200 to Intown Concord in Concord; and $3,500 to Pontine Theatre in Portsmouth.

Brad Kulacz joined Merrimack County Savings Bank in Concord as branch manager of the Contoocook office. Kulacz previously worked as a teller manager and senior customer service representative at The Merrimack in Concord from 2004 to 2006.

St. Mary's Bank in Manchester partnered with Computer Technology Assistance Corps in Manchester to donate 12 refurbished personal computrs to the Manchester West High School. St. Mary's Bank covered the cost of the computer upgrades and software.
