RAPID Manufacturing in Nashua, the second fastest growing NH company on Business NH Magazine's 2016 Top 100 Private Companies list, promoted Len Morrissey to president. Morrissey, who has worked as CFO of RAPID for the past five years, will continue as CFO while assuming responsibility for overseeing the company's business systems and facilities, HR and all sales activity.

"[Morrissey] has proven himself as a leader at RAPID the past five years," says James Jacobs, founder and CEO. "He has the ability to see what’s going on in the economy and market place, to sense opportunities and also to really understand how we come together at RAPID to execute against those opportunities in a collaborative way.”

RAPID employs over 325 people and manufactures quick-turn prototype sheet metal and machined parts. Rapid Sheet Metal offers a free add-in, eRAPID, for SOLIDWORKS that allows users to cost and order sheet metal parts within CAD, instantly. eRAPID also provides design for manufacturability feedback as users design sheet metal parts.

Along with the company's place on Business NH Magazine's Top Five Fastest Growing Private Companies list, RAPID was also included as one of Inc. 5000's Fastest Growing Private companies in the U.S. in 2016.

The company's leadership team is now comprised of Jacobs, Morrissey and Tom Pursch, COO. “Our senior leadership team has never been stronger, and together this group will drive RAPID forward," says Jacobs.
