New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) in Concord and the College of Online and Continuing Education at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in Manchester partnered on an articulation agreement between the two schools’ Information Technology (IT) programs.  The agreement provides a path to a Bachelor’s degree for qualifying NHTI students in associate degree programs.

While SNHU always accepted students from NHTI, transfers were originally handled on a case-by-case basis with courses and credits only sometimes transfered to SNHU.

The new agreement defines the transfer rules for certain IT programs at the two schools.  Students who graduate from NHTI with an sssociate degree in Information Technology (with optional concentrations in Applications Development or Networking) will be able to transfer all of their IT credits to SNHU’s BS in IT program, provided they earned a grade of “C-” or higher in those courses.  They can also take an additional 18 credits beyond the associate degree that can be transferred to SNHU.
