Lottery and NH Motor Speedway Announce Partnership

Published Tuesday Jul 19, 2011

The New Hampshire Lottery and New Hampshire Motor Speedway announced recently a new partnership through the 2011 season. Starting this week, the Lottery and the Speedway will work together to rev up fans with unique promotions, special discounts and brand new offers.

The Lottery is always trying to respond to what our players want by finding new and interesting ways to enhance our player experience and our presence, said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery.

At the LENOX Industrial Tools 301, which took place at the Speedway this past weekend, the Lottery offered fans a chance to purchase lottery tickets at a sales trailer and instant tickets at any of nine self-service vending machines. The Lottery also gave fans a chance to enter non-winning lottery tickets into a drawing for a chance to attend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Driver's Meeting.

Additionally, the Lottery and the Speedway posted the world's largest instant ticket, a 35 foot by 20 foot $1 Million Cash Spectacular scratch ticket, on display during the entire weekend.

We are thrilled to be working with the New Hampshire Lottery to offer our fans something new and exciting, said Jerry Gappens, executive VP and general manager of the Speedway. We look forward to unveiling a number of exciting promotions throughout the 2011 season, and maybe even a few world records!

As an ongoing part of the partnership, fans can bring up to 10 non-winning Lottery tickets to the Speedway box office to receive up to $10 off any race day ticket.

Together, I hope we'll be able keep generating innovative ideas and generate the excitement our players and fans are looking for, McIntyre added.
