Marguerite's Place, Inc., a family supporting nonprofit in Nashua, recieved a $5,000 grant from People's United Bank in Bridgeport, Conn. The funds will help to support the costs for housing and supportive services offered to homeless women and children.

St. Mary's Bank in Manchester donated their lobby mural to the Manchester Historic Association in Manchester. The mural will be on display at the American-Canadian Genealogical Society in Manchester.

The MacMillin Company, LLC in Keene has started new projects in Hartland and Woodstock, Vermont, and Claremont. Macmillan also hired three new employees: Carol Marsigliano, previously of Baybutt Construction in Keene, as project administrator; John Edwards, previously of Bayutt Construction, as project manager; and Steve Hart, previously of American Construction in Tacoma, Wash., as special project manager.
