Every year, Business NH Magazine partners with the Manchester Community Music School on a project designed to learn more about how business people have been affected and/or influenced by music. Many professionals even credit their success to their music education.
So we are asking you to share your personal story. Was it the hours of practicing an instrument that helped you develop a good work ethic? Did music sooth your soul as you were growing up? Did being a member of a band teach you team work?
Send us your short250 wordsstory about how music has shaped your life. Answer at least one of these three questions:
- How did music or a music education prepare you for a career?
- Why do you think music education is important?
- What role does music play in your life today?
Email your story by December 31 to BNHmusiccontest@gmail.com. The winning entry will receive an iPod nano and a $250 contribution to the Music School in your name. In addition, your story will posted on BNH online.
