Besides the day and days following your birth, no day is as immortalized in photos as your wedding day. And while some brides seek pomp and circumstance and the lights of the city, others look to get away to the country, often in the fall. There are no exact figures on what share of tourism (NH's second largest industry) weddings encompass, but the options are many.
According to theknot.com, three NH venues did it best in 2015: Atkinson Resort and Country Club in Atkinson, The Grandview Ballroom at the Oaks in Somersworth and Hidden Hills Estate in Rindge. The Atkinson Resort & Country Club has the added honor of being part of theknot.com Hall of Fame, having been voted a best NH wedding venue four years in a row.
