Top executives at The Echo Group in Conway and Dyn, Inc. in Manchester were recognized as 2012 Entrepreneurs of the Year by the New Hampshire High Technology Council (NHHTC) Monday  at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester.

Chairman George Epstein was recognized for his work at The Echo Group, which he co-founded in 1981. "Building something that outlasts you is my definition of successful entrepreneurship, Epstein said.

The Echo Group has provided services in information management of the health and human service markets for more than 30 years. In 2009, Echo released the Visual Health Record, a timeline-based approach to viewing a clinical chart.

Co-founders Chief Technology Officer Tom Daly and Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Hitchcock were recognized for their work at Dyn, which they founded in 1998. It takes a village for a company to grow and it's a great mix of staff, friends, family, and customers that have gotten us to here, Hitchcock said. I'm excited about the progress we've made and I hope we inspire others to join the entrepreneurial ecosystem here in Manchester and southern New Hampshire.
