BIA Chief Reappointed to U.S. Chamber Committee

Jim Roche, president of the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshirejheadquartered in Concord, has been reappointed to a ninth term on the Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100, an advisory panel to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Membership in the Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100, or CCC100, is by invitation only and is limited to chamber presidents and chief executive officers. This group of the country’s leading chamber chief executives advises the U.S. Chamber of Commerce board of directors; enhances the U.S. Chamber’s lobbying and coalition work; recommends programming; and strengthens outreach to the business and chamber community.

“The Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 has a long-standing reputation as one of the most prestigious appointments in the chamber community,” said Rob Engstrom, senior vice president of political affairs and federation relations at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “Jim's selection reflects the significance of committee members’ involvement in shaping the voice of business and our continued dedication to naming diverse, high-profile leaders to serve on this important committee.”

“This reappointment will ensure that ... BIA continues to have a voice in the national discussion of top issues that affect New Hampshire businesses,” said Roche.

The CCC100 includes a diverse combination of men and women from throughout the United States representing chambers of commerce of all sizes.
