$3.4 Million in First Week of Sports Betting

Mobile and online sports betting met with enthusiasm in the Granite State. NH Lottery players wagered more than $3.44 million since the NH Lottery and DraftKings launched sports betting on Dec. 30. And, more than 16,200 players opened accounts to place sports bets in New Hampshire as of January 6.

“Early returns show that sports betting was absolutely the right bet for New Hampshire to make,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “With revenues benefitting our state’s education system, this is already proving to be a big win. The demand is there and New Hampshire is happy to serve as the region’s go-to destination for sports betting.”

New Hampshire residents can download the DraftKings Sportsbook app to place wagers through DraftKings, which is the exclusive digital operator in NH.

The DraftKings Sportsbook app looks the same in all states where sports betting is legal. New Hampshire state laws do not allow wagers to be placed on college teams from the state or college games taking place within state lines.
