Therma-HEXX Corporation is beginning production from its new facility in Portsmouth. The 6000-square-foot facility will produce the company’s innovative ThermaPANELproduct line for heating and cooling of walkways, plaza pavers and other pedestrian walking areas.
The production facility features a state-of-the-art assembly line and the company expects to employ up to 25 employees over the next few years. Robert Barmore, president and CEO, said the company is excited about the future and proud to be moving to the next level from the new facility. In 2011, the company received a New Hampshire Green Launching Pad grant, funding that was crucial to helping the company expand its presence in the marketplace.
“We’ve focused our efforts on very specific segments of the marke," said Barmore. “ThermaPANEL has a wide range of possible applications. Our research and development efforts will fine tune and expand our product offering over the coming months."
ThermaPANEL is 100 percent made in America, can be completely recycled and can also contribute to LEED certification.
