The State We’re In: Anti-Asian Sentiment

The Granite State News Collaborative and NH PBS are presenting The State We’re In - Anti-Asian Sentiment.

The recent spa shootings in Atlanta have sparked a national movement to ‘Stop Asian Hate’ in the United States. In NH, where Asian-Americans make up 3% of the population, making them the second largest minority group in the state, a recent rally in front of the State House was organized to do the same.

Joining Melanie Plenda to talk about the roots of Anti-Asian American sentiments in NH and beyond is Dr. Monica Chiu, a University of NH English professor, who specializes in Asian American Studies.
