The Echo Group, a Conway-based company providing software and services to Behavioral Healthcare organizations, promoted Matthew Caggiano to CEO. Caggiano is a Healthcare IT sales and operations executive with more than 20 years of industry experience.

Caggiano came to Echo as COO in December 2015, leading the sales and marketing, professional services, support, and revenue cycle management areas. “When Matt joined the company, we asked him to accomplish a great many things in a short amount of time.” says Echo Chairman George Epstein. “He surpassed the organizational goals and objectives we laid out for him. For the long term, Matt is cultivating a culture of success at Echo that will drive and support the sustainable growth we’re looking to achieve.”

Before Echo, Caggiano was vice president, population health sales for Allscripts, a $1.4 billion healthcare information technology company headquartered in Chicago. There he oversaw all population health sales in the United States healthcare market.

“The opportunity to lead a group of talented professionals who are smart and passionate about the work they do is what drew me to Echo,” Caggiano says.

A native New Englander, Caggiano grew up on Cape Cod, Mass. and received his bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College. Caggiano, his wife Allyssa, and their two children, have recently relocated to central Maine.

The Echo Group develops enterprise software applications designed specifically for and used by hundreds of behavioral health organizations nationwide. Echo offers a suite of applications for electronic health records, government reporting and compliance, clinical and financial decision support, and medical/government billing functions, as well as software for managed care organizations which can be deployed as self-hosted or Software as a Service (SaaS). Echo also offers Revenue Cycle Management services, Information Technology support, and Fiscal and Clinical Process Workflow Analysis.

Privately held since 1980, The Echo Group has additional offices in Ohio and California.
