Colebrook native Dan Dagesse, who founded the Nucar Group, has donated $800,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire to boost expansion in the North Country. Last year, the Nucar Group surprised the organization with a $300,000 contribution at the Club’s annual gala. The Dagesse family’s gifts are helping the Boys & Girls Club develop child care centers, after school programs and summer camps in the North Country, where families often struggle to find care.  Current projects include reopening a child care center at White Mountain Community College in Berlin and partnering with the NH Food Bank to explore building a shared facility in the area.
