St. Mary’s Bank in Manchester hired Tyler White as chief information officer. In this role, White will provide strategic leadership and direct activities within the credit union’s technology, operations, data analytics, digital engagement, business application and project management functions. He previously worked at Northway Bank in North Conway.

Dartmouth Health recently opened the new 212,000-square-foot inpatient expansion, Patient Pavilion, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.The center broke ground on the project in July 2020. The Patient Pavilion adds 64 single-occupancy inpatient rooms, new Medical Specialty Care and Heart and Vascular units, and a new Nursing Education Center. This is the first expansion of DHMC’s inpatient facilities since the medical center opened in 1991.

NHTrust in Concord promoted Debbie Irwin from AVP marketing officer to VP, Marketing Officer. Irwin has been with the organization since 2011, starting as marketing programs manager at Meredith Village Savings Bank to AVP, marketing programs officer for NH Mutual Bancorp in 2016.

Dartmouth Health in Lebanon received a $2.5 million gift from Hypertherm founders and former executives Barbara and Dick Couch to establish the Couch Endowed Fund for Inclusive Excellence Faculty Fellowships at Dartmouth Cancer Center. Dorothy M. Byrne’s made a gift that established the Byrne Family Cancer Research Institute, bringing the total endowment for Inclusive Excellence Faculty Fellowships to $5 million. The fund will support the recruitment and retention of up-and-coming cancer clinician-scientists from under-represented groups in medicine—particularly those exploring health disparities and healthcare inequities.

The NH Music Festival raised more than $100,000 from more than 100 donors in March. The funds allow the festival to present three weeks of chamber orchestra and chamber music in July. Plymouth State University has reserved Silver Center for the Arts for the festival’s 71st season.

ReVision Energy, a 100% employee-owned solar company headquartered in South Portland, Maine and with locations in NH, recertified as a B Corp with a new high score of 150. Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet high standards of positive social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. To achieve B Corp Certification, companies must meet credible, comprehensive, transparent, and independent standards and earn a minimum score of 80 out of 200 possible points on the B Impact Assessment, a rigorous evaluation consisting of several hundred questions related to the overall social and environmental impact of the company. Recertification is required every three years. ReVision Energy first certified as a B Corp in 2015 with a score of 94.4, recertified in 2018 with a score of 125.9, putting the company in the top 5% of B Corps worldwide.

Harbor Care in Nashua was awarded a $2,000 donation by the Rotary Club of Hollis-Brookline to support its Dignity of Home initiative. The donation will support Harbor Care’s work to house individuals who are experiencing homelessness and provide them with critical supports to ensure they progress from crisis, to stabilization, to success.

Alan F. Rumrill, who was the first paid employee at the Historical Society of Cheshire County, which serves the city of Keene and 22 other towns in southwest NH, is celebrating his 40th anniversary as the organization’s director. Under Rumrill’s leadership, the Historical Society of Cheshire County has grown to six staff members, 130 volunteers, three buildings, and more than 150 programs annually.
