Eversource’s ConnectedSolutions demand management program received the 2021 Program Pacesetter Award from the Peak Load Management Alliance (PLMA). The energy company was recognized for surpassing enrollment goals and setting a high bar for energy demand management programs.

UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Goffstown named Kerry McGrath to its board of directors. McGrath is currently senior underwriting specialist and team lead for Acadia Insurance Company and serves as chair of the NH branch Volunteer Committee.

The U.S. Army is hosting a virtual career fair through June 14 as part of the of the Army’s second nationwide virtual hiring campaign. The Army National Hiring Days campaign, which launched as a virtual event in 2020 due to the pandemic, includes up to $40,000 in signing bonuses or student loan reimbursement up to $65,000, depending on qualifications, selected occupation, and length of the service contract.

Meredith Village Savings Bank recently purchased $10,000 in tax credits from the Homeless Center for Strafford County (HCSC) through the NH Community Development Finance Authority to support their efforts to build a new shelter building ready for occupancy in the fall of 2021. HCSC provides community members and families with shelter, case management and educational programs to help facilitate self-sufficiency and permanent housing.

This is the third consecutive year this Maine bank, which has offices and branches in NH was recognized by Forbes, jumping seven spots from last year.

Concord Hospital Trust is presenting The Beat Goes on Block Party, the annual Crafts, Drafts & Barrels evening of spirit, beer and wine tasting. This re-imagined benefit will be held June 4 at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord (with a Saturday, June 5 rain date) and will include admission to take in the universe while you sip, dine and mingle.

The 40th Annual Prouty will be a hybrid event, according to the Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center, with in-person and virtual participation options available this summer. Registration is open at TheProuty.org. There are four ways to participate in The Prouty this year. In-person options include: Golf (July 9 at Eastman Golf Links in Grantham, NH), 20-mile Cycle (July 10 at Dewey Field Lot in Hanover, NH), 5k Walk (July 11 at Dewey Field Lot in Hanover, NH). The Virtual Prouty and Prouty Ultimate will take place June 1-July 10, 40 days in honor of the 40th Prouty.
