In the spotlight: Bangor Savings Bank is expanding its footprint into two of NH’s most populous cities opening full-service branches in Concord and Manchester. The bank now has seven locations in NH.

Primary Bank in Bedford hired Lana Constantino, as AVP and branch manager. She has more than 13 years of banking experience and prior to joining Primary Bank, was branch manager at Triangle Credit Union in Nashua.

The Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire appointed Barbara McLean Ward to the new position of senior grant writer and program developer. Ward was formerly the director and curator of the Moffatt-Ladd House & Garden where she instituted a program for high school students entitled “Exploring the Issue of Slavery in the Era of the American Revolution” under a Museums for America grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Absolute Title, with locations in Bedford, Concord and Portsmouth, has created a memorial fund to honor one of its longtime employees who unexpectedly passed away last year. BJ Cirnigliaro was one of the company’s first employees and as senior vice president, opened the Absolute Title's Portsmouth office in 2019. The fund, which will be administered by the NH Charitable Foundation, will award grants annually to organizations and causes that will help carry Cirnigliaro’s memory. Starting with $125,000 in seed funding from Absolute Title, the Memorial Fund will support suicide prevention programs, animal shelters and humane societies, mental health, LGBTQ, and home ownership support organizations.

Amy Mavris was promoted to assistant VP marketing communications officer for NH Mutual Bancorp. She started as a seasonal teller in high school and has worked in many areas of the organization, including branches, loan operations, and risk management.

St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, hired Christopher Moore to its financial services team as an associate financial advisor. Before joining St. Mary’s, Moore held financial services positions at Symmetry Financial Group and Fidelity Investments.

The NH Lottery expects the Men’s College Basketball Tournament to be the state’s biggest sports betting event of the year, with heavy betting continuing throughout the three-week tournament.
