In the Spotlight: Eversource in Manchester will be upgrading its transmission system in the Seacoast to enhance delivery of power to thousands of customers. Crews will replace insulators on the transmission system in North Hampton, Greenland and Portsmouth using helicopters to carry workers from structure to structure.

Service Credit Union promoted Allie Somers to associate general counsel. Somers will oversee and manage the legal department, all credit union third-party contracts and member legal requests to include: trusts, power of attorneys, guardianships, court orders, and deceased accounts.

Service Credit Union also hired John Dargin as the Concord branch manager. Bringing more than 28 years of financial services experience, Dargin most recently worked as customer engagement manager for Middlesex Savings Bank in Natick, Mass.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage/Center Harbor hired Carol Mattice and her daughter, Mikaela Mattice, to the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Center Harbor Team.

Massachusetts-based Pentucket Bank, with NH branches in Salem and Hampstead, promoted Karl Denu as senior VP; Eric Leuteritz to Senior VP/commercial lender; and Stephen Jaskelevicus to senior VP/commercial lending department manager.

Primary Bank was named bank of the year by the Capital Regional Development Council (CRDC) based on highest dollar volume of lending of loans referred to CRDC for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30.

Northeast Credit Union promoted Debbie Auger to VP of marketing. Prior to joining NECU in 2016 as AVP of marketing, Auger served as director of client services for Sean Tracey Associates, a Portsmouth-based advertising agency.

Fulcrum Associates in Amherst completed cosmetic renovations to CJ’s Great West Grill in Manchester in conjunction with the restaurant’s new menu launch in October. Over the course of 10 days, mechanical systems, walls, roofing, and customer areas were upgraded during a full restaurant shut down.

St. Mary’s Bank, headquartered in Manchester, hired Jessica McQuaid as community relations coordinator to oversee all community outreach programs, charitable giving, education programs, and events. St. Mary’s also hired Mary Sullivan and Jason Miles as residential lending sales managers. The lenders fill positions newly created as part of St. Mary’s Bank’s plan to strengthen and expand its presence both in and outside of NH.

A former marble processing plant built in 1908 and transformed into a showcase complex earned the University of Tennessee a prestigious honor from American School & University and added another award-winning design to the Manchester-based Kalwall portfolio. The firm's project was featured on the cover of this year’s AS&U Magazine’s EIS awards edition. The annual showcase honors the best in educational design.
