Six attorneys with McLane Middleton in Manchester have been admitted to the New Hampshire State Bar. Rob Kendall is an associate in the firm’s litigation department.  He handles a variety of civil and criminal litigation matters.  Amanda Quinlan is also an associate in the firm’s litigation department and a member of the education law and probate litigation practice groups.  Lauren Kilmister’s practice involves representing individuals and businesses on entity formation, financing transactions, and contract drafting and review.  Kelsey Maillett is a member of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice group. Christine O’Brien also advises clients on a wide array of issues, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting, review and negotiation, and general corporate governance. Kilmister, Maillett, and O’Brien are all associates practicing in the firm’s corporate department.

The Spark! Community Center in Lebanon has received two grants this month. The Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation has agreed to match up to $20,000 in individual donations. The Lane and Elizabeth Dwinnell Charitable Foundation is making a $10,000 grant to Spark! in order to support the community center’s Friday Fun Nights, which include free dinner and entertainment.

The Business and Industry Association in Concord, the statewide chamber of commerce and business advocate, hired Katherine Lehmann as its new director of public policy. Lehmann will head advocacy efforts in the areas of energy and environmental compliance.

Howe Riley & Howe in Bedford hired Linda Imhof, a certified public accountant with more than 20 years of professional experience, as an accounting manager. Her background includes supervising staff accountants, managing tax return preparation for corporations, partnership, individuals and trusts, year-end tax planning and managing commercial and employee benefit plan audits.

Bank of New Hampshire hired Jim Glover for the Laconia office as VP-Banking Office Manager. Glover has more than 12 years of experience in the banking industry and a broad knowledge of retail banking, business banking and wealth management.

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, the Bedford-based council encompassing New Hampshire and Vermont, was recognized by Girl Scouts of the USA for its membership growth. At a time when the population of both states is relatively flat and many service groups are seeing membership decline, GSGWM has seen increases in scout members and adult volunteers, for the past three years.

Jewett Construction Company in Raymond hired Ryan Welch as assistant estimator. Welch is a recent graduate of the University of NH and began his work with Jewett as a part-time employee while finishing his degree.

Spaulding Youth Center in Northfield presented the Spaulding Spirit Award to Linda Pletch, supervisor of the behavioral therapy team. This peer-nominated recognition is presented at each quarterly staff meeting to one employee who exemplifies Spaulding Spirit and makes peers proud to be working by their side.

Wendy Schoneberger has joined the Merrimack Valley Chapter of SCORE as a member of the volunteer non-profit organization and a certified small business mentor. Schoneberger and her husband, Eric, are the owners of Linahan Limousine in Windham.
