In the Spotlight: Red Wing Shoe Company has chosen PixelMEDIA of Portsmouth to launch and build their brand on Salesforce Commerce Cloud for Redwingshoes.com, Redwingheritage.com, Irishsetterboots.com, and Vasque.com. Headquartered in Minnesota, Red Wing Shoe Company was founded in 1905.

Harvey Construction Corporation in Bedford hired Maureen Cook as a project accountant, Tim Lotterhand as an estimator, Jack O’Brien as a project engineer and Steve Yurcak as a superintendent.

JSA Inc., an architecture, planning and interior design firm in Portsmouth, has named Sothea Cheney, Dave Gardner, and Jay Longtin, AIA, LEED AP, associates of the firm.

Eversource is supporting Nissan's latest offer on the all-electric LEAF passenger car, to promote zero-emission vehicles and to help customers save money. Customers can receive a $5,000 rebate off the MSRP of a new 2018 Nissan LEAF from Eversource.

The NHHEAF Network Organizations’ employee-led NHHEAF Network Cares charitable giving program is providing $225 mini-grants to several nonprofit agencies: Rundlett Middle School’s Blue Duke Care Closet, Concord Coalition to End Homelessness, The Children’s Place & Parent Education Center, and The Friends Program, all in Concord. Easter Seals NH in Manchester, SafeKids NH in Lebanon, and The Homestead Inn, Boscawen also received awards. In addition, Bridges-NH in Nashua received $150 in mini-grant funds.

Scholarship winners

Concord Hospital Trust awarded more than $37,000 in scholarships to students seeking careers in nursing and allied health care. The recipients are: Kathryn Hartford, Kristina Andrewski, Holly Mitchell, Colleen DeCato, Sara Osborne, Kaitlyn Covell, Jaret Foote, Sarah Castagno, Abigail Desrosiers, Hailey Stevens, Cerys Eldred, Jillian Kilar and Laura Obolewicz.  In addition, three allied health awards were given to: Shania Clark, Ryan Phelps and Emily Forde.

NH Hears, a local organization that was founded by Grace Leonard, a sophomore at Concord High School with her father is planning a walkathon for Sunday, September 16 as a fundraiser for the Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services.

Atlantic Broadband is now offering Gigabit internet service in its NH and Maine service areas, as well as what it says are new, faster business internet speeds. The upgrades follow the rollout of automatic speed upgrades for its residential internet customers and the TiVo Entertainment platform.
