This Week’s Spotlight: Piscataqua Savings Bank in Portsmouth hired Gregory Doolittle as assistant VP and assistant compliance officer. Doolittle has 15 years of banking experience and was previously treasurer of the Rotary Club of Boston. He will assist with oversight of the bank’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all banking regulations.

CATCH Neighborhood Housing in Concord, a nonprofit housing provider in Concord, hired Molly Sanborn as director of development and marketing. Sanborn previously worked as the online media and communications coordinator at Easter Seals NH in Manchester.

Daystar in Newington, a managed services provider and technology integrator, hired Brian Moore to its business development team. Moore has more than 16 years of experience in businesses and technology consulting.

Krystal Alpers, parks and recreation director for the City of Franklin, received the 2016 Sandi Van Scoyoc Legacy Award from the HNH Foundation in Concord. The award’s annual $2,500 prize is given to a NH organization or individual who works to improve the health and wellness of the state’s children and families.

Holy Rosary Credit Union in Rochester promoted Ken Mauser to  assistant VP of technology. Mauser, previously IT manager for the credit union, will oversee network testing of the HRCU system, reporting on technology updates and threats of banking fraud.

NH State Sen. Jeanie Forrester, R-Meredith, received the first annual Jennifer Wierwille Norton Memorial Award from the NH Children’s Behavioral Health Collaborative, formed in 2010 as a joint initiative of the Endowment for Health and the NH Charitable Foundation in Concord. The award recognizes an individual who works to pass policy aimed at improving the lives of the state’s children, youth and families.

The Merrimack County Savings Bank Foundation in Concord donated $2,700 to Catholic Charities NH in Manchester. The grant will support the pilot year of its Basic Financial Fitness initiative, a financial literacy program for low- to moderate-income families in Concord.

Merrimack Valley Credit Union opened a new branch in the Seabrook Commons Plaza on Lafayette Road. The credit union has assets of $575 million and five other locations in Plaistow and in Massachusetts.

New England College in Henniker partnered with TurboVote for the upcoming 2016 presidential election.  Provided by the nonprofit Democracy Works Inc., TurboVote is a web-based service that helps students request voter registration materials and absentee ballots online and can send election reminders and poll closing information via text message.

Santo Insurance & Financial Services Inc. in Salem hired Stacey Bruzzese to the newly created role of director of marketing and new business development. Bruzzese most recently served as the president and CEO of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce in Massachusetts. In her new role she will oversee outreach and business development throughout Southern NH and Merrimack Valley.

Single Digits Inc. in Bedford, a provider of Internet management and support solutions, and Pat Niswander of Concord received the President’s Awards from NH Audubon in Concord. Niswander received the award for her 30 years of volunteering at the nonprofit, while Single Digits received the award for donating two new cameras and hosting the nonprofit’s Peregrine Web Cam of the Peregrine Falcon nest at 1750 Elm Street in Manchester.

Stay Work Play in Manchester appointed three new members to its board of directors: Rachael Comstock, controller at Scribe Software in Manchester; Johanna Halperin, founder of the Winnipesaukee Playhouse in Meredith; and Kristen Oliveri, director of communications at the NH Charitable Foundation in Concord.

Wason Associates Hospitality Real Estate Brokerage Group in Portsmouth oversaw the sale of the Days Inn Tamworth, previously the White Lake Inn & Tavern, and the Days Inn Concord. Capital Hotel Company VI LLC purchased the Days Inn Concord from the property’s previous owners, Toral LLC, with both the buyer and seller being based in Concord. Mike Patel and his wife Bhumi purchased the Days Inn Tamworth.
