 This Week's Spotlight: New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) promoted Deborah Flanders to assistant VP, learning and development officer. Flanders was hired by Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) in 1992 and most recently worked as learning and development officer of NHMB. She will continue to oversee organization-wide training and development for all employees of NHMB and its subsidiaries: MVSB, Merrimack County Savings Bank in Concord and MillRiver Wealth Management in Meredith.

B2W Software in Portsmouth received finalist status for its B2W Cloud product at the 2015-16 Cloud Awards Program and its B2W Maintain product at the 2016 BIG Innovations Awards. B2W Cloud provides cloud hosting for construction companies and B2W Maintain helps manage equipment maintenance and repair processes.

Breathe NH in Manchester, a nonprofit focused on lung health, hired Allyssa Thompson as director of programs. She previously worked for the NH chapters of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene hired Christopher Lee as a general surgeon. Lee was previously a general surgeon, chief of surgery and trauma medical director at Livingston Memorial Hospital in Montana.

The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire in Dover opened a science and technology lab based on STEAM education guidelines.  The lab includes iPads, a 3D printer and high-powered FLoid® Cell Imaging Systems, donated to the museum by Thermo Fisher Scientific in Massachusetts.

HandicappedPets.com in Amherst, which develops and sells products for disabled, injured and aging pets, hired Lisa Murray as marketing/public relations director. Murray, who previously worked for HandicappedPets.com in 2008, most recently worked as VP for institutional advancement at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge.

Harvey Construction in Bedford began work on a six-lane, passenger screening checkpoint at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT). The project is expected to be completed before Thanksgiving.

Jaffrey’s Main Street district is one of 10 towns nationwide beta testing a mobile marketing app created by Distrx, Inc. in Florida. The app allows the district, shops, restaurants and town attractions to interact with visitors and send them special offers and other information.
