This Week’s Spotlight: Meredith Village Savings Bank in Meredith promoted Melissa French Reid to VP of branch services and retail sales officer. Reid was hired at MVSB as a teller in 2002 and most recently served as assistant VP of retail sales and branch services. She will continue to oversee service and knowledge training for MVSB retail employees and represent retail in all NH Mutual Bancorp strategic projects.

Atlantic Prefab in Nashua, which produces prefabricated wall panels and other components, is now affiliated with Sto Panel Technology in Georgia, a producer of cladding and coating systems for building construction, maintenance and restoration.

EnviroVantage in Epping, an environmental and specialty contractor, donated $6,000 to Breathe NH in Manchester, a nonprofit that focuses on lung health, as part of its celebration of the company's 30th anniversary.

CCA for Social Good, a division of CCA Global Partners in Manchester, partnered with the Ohio Child Care Resource & Referral Association to launch EarlyLearningResourcesOhio.org, an online platform to help child care professionals and programs in Ohio save time and money and improve the quality of care.

Concord Regional Technology Center won this year’s ProStart competition, an annual high school culinary competition hosted by the NH Lodging and Restaurant Association, also in Concord. ProStart is a two-year career and technical education program focused on teaching culinary skills and restaurant management fundamentals.

HK Powersports, a motorcycle dealer with locations in Hooksett and Laconia, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. The dealership, a family owned and operated business since 1976, has grown from one location with a staff of four selling Kawasaki motorcycles to 55 employees at two dealerships selling eight product lines.

FirstLight Fiber in New York, which also covers Northern New England, was chosen to provide Internet services to the Laconia School District. The district has three elementary schools, a middle school, a high school and a regional technical center.

The Cascade Spa in Meredith donated $3,500 for the care management program at LRGHealthcare in Laconia. The money was raised at the Spa’s annual Spalidays event, a two-day spa retreat.

The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord was selected as one of 2016’s top family attractions in the country by FlipKey, a TripAdvisor company. FlipKey selected one attraction for each of the 50 states for its list of 2016 Top Family Attractions Worth Traveling For.

Julie E. Greenwood, a manager at Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA in Concord, was re-elected as treasurer at Pope Memorial SPCA, a nonprofit animal shelter organization also in Concord.

The NH Fiscal Policy Institute (NHFPI) elected Michael Coughlin, Patrick Miller and Peter Powell to its board of directors. Michael Coughlin is currently CEO of Tri-County Community Action in Berlin, which provides various services to more than 40,000 residents in the North Country. In late March, Coughlin will begin working as CEO for the Crotched Mountain Foundation in Greenfield, which supports area citizens with disabilities and their families. Patrick Miller, who previously served on the board at NHFPI and is now vice chair, is the founder and principal of Pero Consulting Group LLC in Campton. He is also a board member of Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth. Peter Powell is the owner of Peter W. Powell Real Estate in Lancaster. He currently serves on the board of NH Public Radio in Concord. The NH Fiscal Policy Institute is an independent, nonprofit, non-partisan organization dedicated to exploring, developing, and promoting public policies that foster economic opportunity and prosperity for NH residents, with an emphasis on low- and moderate-income families and individuals.

St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua hired Prasanna Gulur as a gastroenterologist. He most recenetly finished fellowships at the State University of New York, Health Science Center and the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.

St. Mary’s Bank in Manchester hired Daniel Robertson as a residential lender in its Concord office. He previously worked in mortgage loan administration at Service Credit Union, which has 33 branches in NH.
