The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration in Maryland awarded $1 million in Health Investment Infrastructure Program funds to Manchester Community Health Center in Manchester to renovate its child health services building.

The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses in California awarded Exeter Hospital in Exeter a silver-level Beacon Award for excellence at its intensive care unit.

Baker Newman Noyes in Portsmouth acquired Albert Stowe, CPA of Portsmouth.

Private Jet Services (PJS) in Seabrook formed a strategic partnership with Arise Air, formerly in Massachusetts. Arise employees are now working out of the PJS headquarters. Bryan Ellis, president of Arise Air, will now serve as director of executive aircraft operations at PJS.

Donald Shumway, president and chief executive of the Crotched Mountain Foundation in Greenfield, announced his retirement. Shumway has been president of the Foundation for the past thirteen years.

Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth partnered with the University of New England in Maine to allow easier transfer between the schools. Under the new program, any Great Bay student who gains an associate degree will be eligible to transfer into one of University of New England's 20-plus bachelor’s and master’s programs.

The Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce in Derry selected Eddie Leon, owner of La Carreta Mexican Restaurant in Manchester, as its 2015 Citizen of the Year. The Chamber also selected The Granite House in Derry as its 2015 Business of the Year.

The Lincoln Financial Foundation in Concord awarded Easter Seals NH Military & Veteran Services in Manchester a grant worth $10,000. The funds will support programs in the Concord-area to prevent homelessness.

Memorial Hospital in North Conway partnered with Pinnacle Rehabilitation Network in Massachusetts and North Conway Physical Therapy in North Conway to offer physical therapy services at the hospital.

Liberty Energy Utilities in Londonderry promoted David Swain to president. Previously, Swain served as regional president for Liberty Utilities in the midwest.
