The EPA in Boston awarded 2014 Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Excellence Awards to the Hampton Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Manchester Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the Penacook Wastewater Treatment Plant. It also awarded the Hanover Water Reclamation Facility a 2014 Regional Industrial Pretreatment Program Excellence Award. The agency also awarded Ray Gordon, septage coordinator of the NH Dept. of Environmental Services in Concord, a 2014 Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Trainer of the Year Excellence Award.

The Community Development Finance Authority in Concord approved a $160,000 community development block grant to the town of Lebanon to be converted into a loan for FreshAir Sensor Corporation in Lebanon.

North Branch Construction in Concord promoted Nicolas Trudel to project superintendent from his position as a member of the safety committee and Gabe Dinicola to assistant project manager from his position as member of the university committee.
