The Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced that Chris Williams would not be renewing his term as president and CEO though he'd  continue to serve through June 30.
 
The board said in a written statement that Williams had been a strong advocate, consensus builder, visible leader and a friend to the diverse membership that makes chamber. Williams had sent out word via socia media recently that he was exploring whether to run for mayor of Nashua.  The board has launched an executive search committee under the direction of Sy Mahfuz and Paul Hebert. The application phase will remain open for four weeks with a deadline of Friday, March 20 with the goal of managing a smooth transition.

Concord Hospital in Concord and the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association in Concord hired Stephen Rust as medical director of palliative and hospice care. Rust previously worked as director of palliative care care at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Alaska.

NBT Bank in Portsmouth hired Tara Trafton, former senior VP and relationship manager at Citizens Bank in Portsmouth, as senior VP and senior commercial relationship manager. The bank also hired Jeffrey Rochefort, former senior portfolio manager at Citizens Bank in Portsmouth and Mass., as VP and commercial banking relationship manager.

The NH Humanities Council in Concord received a $20,000 grant from the Lincoln Financial Foundation in Concord to support the council’s Connections adult literacy program.

Northeast Credit Union in Portsmouth hired David Wolf as VP of indirect lending and promoted Chuck Tewell from his position as committee member on the Northeast Supervisory Committee to VP of human resources. Previously, Wolf worked as VP of credit and operations at TD Bank Group in Canada.
