New Hampshire Travel and Tourism (DTTD) Director Lori Harnois joins the U.S. Travel Association’s Membership Governance Committee as an at-large director as a result of a member-wide vote. She is the first NH director to be named to the board and will serve on the committee through 2016. At-large directors officially started their new terms at the spring board meeting, held in Washington, D.C. recently.

Community Child Care Center in Portsmouth elected Kristen Jeffrey, managing director of talent recruitment for Teach for America in Boston, and Jennifer Madden, founder and owner at Jenn Madden Realtors in Rye Beach, to its board of directors. The Center also received a $30,000 grant from the Foundation for Seacoast Health in Portsmouth to provide early learning and school-age programming for seacoast children.
