Marcy Carsey, an Emmy-winning television producer, donated $20 million to the University of NH in Durham, her alma mater. The donation will be used to support the creation of the Carsey School for Public Policy. The donation is the second largest in UNH's history.

The Fells Historic Estate and Gardens in Newbury hired Susan Warren as executive director. Warren was most recently board chair of the Darien Domestic Abuse Partnership in Darien, Conn.

Centrix Bank in Bedford promoted Jimmie Ray Denwiddie, Jr. to assistant VP, loan servicing officer. Denwiddie joined Centrix in 2007.
