 The Music Hall in Portsmouth received $75,000 from Jane's Trust for its Community Partner Program.

Twelve NH nonprofit organizations were granted $4.1 million through the Community Development Finance Authority Tax Credit Program. Projects receiving money include the Concord downtown revitalization project, relocation and expansion of the Nashua Soup Kitchen in Nashua, and an emergency shelter for homeless families in Manchester.

Labsphere in North Sutton promoted Victoria Rivera to VP of sales from her position as global account manager for OEM products and western U.S. sales manager.

Hospitals & Health Networks magazine named Elliot Health System in Manchester as one of the nation's "Most Wired." The hospital was cited for being among the most technologically advanced health care providers for the third year in a row.

Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank of Newburyport, Mass. and with NH locations donated $7,500 to Families First Health & Support Center in Portsmouth to support its parent education programs.

Nina Chang, audit manager at Nathan Wechsler & Co. in Concord, was appointed secretary of the board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester in Manchester.

The Seacoast Repertory Theatre in Portsmouth named Alan E. Gold president of its board of trustees. Gold is currently VP of marketing and business development for Kewill Americas in Chelmsford, Mass.

The Lane Hotel in Keene joined Historic Hotels of America, a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Cobb Hill Construction, Inc. in Concord received the National Associated Builders and Contractors Safety Training and Evaluation Process Diamond Award. Cobb Hill was recognized for its safety record of 1,983 days with no lost-time.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua Family Medicine in Nashua hired Samantha J. Harrington as a physician's assistant. Harrington recieved her MPAS from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Mass.

The Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation in Manchester announced that grant applications are now available for non-profit organizations serving the elder community in the Greater Manchester area. Grants will be awarded through the Pearl Manor Fund.

Red River in Claremont has partnered with EXTENSION, INC., an Indiana based developer of a next generation alarm safety platform for health care, to address the need for more unified communication between staff and IT systems in health care.

North Branch Construction in Concord completed its improvements to the new United Rentals facility in Hooksett.

NHTI in Concord promoted Charles Lloyd to associate VP of student affairs. Previously, Lloyd was director of student life.

wedu in Manchester hired Colleen Cowette to fill its newly-created director of corporate services position. Before joining wedu, Cowette was director of development for a statewide non-profit agency and led the account team for SilverTech in Manchester.
