Community Bridges, an agency in Concord that advances the integration, growth and interdependence of people with disabilities within their home communities, received the 2012 Dunfey Award for excellence in nonprofit management from The Corporate Fund.

In Washington, the U.S. Small Business Administration's Small Business Investment Company debenture program provided $2.95 billion to small businesses in fiscal year 2012.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Wolfeboro announced Sarah Kelley Ford has been appointed as sales manager of the company's Wolfeboro office. Ford will be responsible for day-to-day sales and operations of nine sales associates and surrounding communities within the Lakes Region.

Concentra of Dallas, TX expanded operational services to New Hampshire patients in Corcord and Manchester. Patients at Concord location will be able to receive new and extended operation hours to the current location, while patients at Manchester will be welcomed to a new facility.

The town of Windham welcomes the growth in medical practices expanding into available commercially zoned space to better serve the residents of the town and the surrounding communities. E. Nickerson Associates, a construction management firm located in Windham, completed phase one of Castle Commons, now home to eight medical practices.

The Community Child Care Center based in Portsmouth held its 2nd Annual 5K Run for the Kids. The race contained 171 runners and raised over $6,000 for the nonprofit center's early childhood and school-age programs that serve over 300 cildren daily at Community Campus

In Hooksett, the Public Service of New Hampshire opened a new 70,000 square foot building. This facility will serve as the headquarters for the Construction, Test & Maintenance Division of PSNH's Transmission Group.

FairPoint Communications, located in Charlotte, NC, launched a green retail energy option to residence of Maine and New Hampshire to reduce electricity costs. FairPoint Communications entered into a marketing agreement with Cirus Energy, a provider of green energy. FairPoint has also licensed to Crius the name FairPoint Energy.

Bedford-based Centrix Bank reported 40 percent year-over-year income growth in the third quarter 2012 financial results.
