The NH Lottery launched a new multi-state draw game, Lucky for Life, which gives players the chance to win $1000 a day for a lifetime. The game is the first multi-state lottery offering to be played in all six New England states and will hold drawings twice a week. The $1,000 a day prize is guaranteed for a minimum of 20 years but will continue to be paid out for the duration of the winner's lifetime.

John Lynch (not the governor) joined Ascentage Group, a software development firm in Concord, as a partner to lead its software practice department. Lynch previously served as VP and CTO of Autodesk, Inc. in Manchester and has a 30-year career in the software industry.

North Branch Construction of Concord began the interior fit-up of the Fresenius Medical Care Center in Conway. The finished clinic will feature state-of-the-art dialysis equipment and modern accommodations for 12 patients who previously had to travel to Rochester or Portsmouth for treatment. CWS Architects of Portland, Maine provided architectural services for the project.

Peter Thurston opened Fish Window Cleaning in Manchester. Fish Window Cleaning is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri has 240 locations in the U.S.

On Call International in Salem hired Tom Davidson as VP of sales and marketing. Davidson previously served as manager of account management at International SOS Assistance Inc. where he oversaw client communication during foreign crises and as manager of the recruitment advertising department at Philadelphia Media Holdings.

The Courville at Nashua was named as one of the best nursing homes in NH in U.S. News' Best Nursing Homes ranking. The 100-bed facility provides rehabilitation services for long- and short-term care residents and was ranked based on its performance in health inspections, nurse staffing and medical care. The list was compiled with data from Nursing Home Compare, a consumer website run by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services. The Courville Companies, the owner of the facility, also has homes in Manchester and Bedford.

People's United Community Foundation donated $9,500 towards books in recognition of the National Education Association's Read Across America program.

The law firm of Devine Millimet in Manchester was awarded first place for its ad campaign in the New England Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association's Your Honor Awards competition. The competition recognizes law firms that demonstrate innovative results in their marketing initiatives.

Katherine M. Hanna, a shareholder of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA in Manchester, was named to NH's Judicial Selection Commission. Hanna was appointed to the committee by Governor John Lynch and will serve through the end of his term. Hanna previously served as chair of the state's first Judicial Selection Commission created under Governor Jeanne Shaheen and currently serves as chair of Sheehan Phinney's health care practice group.

Margaret-Ann Moran, an attorney and partner at Upton & Hatfield, LLP, in Concord, was elected secretary of the board of directors of Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. At the firm, Moran frequently represents school districts and boards in student and labor matters.

Dennis Mires, P.A., The Architects in Manchester completed a new 3,000-square-foot branch office of Bellwether Community Credit Union in Bedford. The facility features ATM stations, loan offices, conferences rooms and support space. Milestone Engineering & Construction, Inc. in Concord completed the project.

Child and Family Services of NH, based in Manchester, received a $25,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation in support of the agency's Street Outreach program, which provides survival aide and hunger relief to runaway and homeless youth. The grant was awarded as part of Walmart's State Giving Program.

David Smith joined St. Mary's Bank in Manchester as a financial consultant in the financial services division. Smith previously served as a financial advisor for People's Securities, Inc. in Manchester.

Piscataqua Savings Bank in Portsmouth announced several leadership changes. Jay Gibson, president and CEO of the bank, is retiring in May. He will be succeeded by current executive VP/senior loan officer Rick Wallis. Senior VP Joan Gile will succeed Wallis as executive vice president and VP Debbie Perry will take on the role of senior loan officer.

Andra Johnstone joined Elliot Health System in Manchester as a senior VP and general counsel. Johnstone previously served at the law firm of Bernstein Shur in Manchester as a shareholder and co-chair of the firm's labor and employment practice group.
