St. Joseph Hospital Wins Cool Company Award

St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua was recently recognized with a Rising Star Award as the Coolest Large Company for Young Professionals in New Hampshire.

To spotlight the critical mission of keeping young professionals in the Granite State, Business NH Magazine partnered with Stay Work Play New Hampshire, young professional organizations statewide and the NH Department of Resources and Economic Development to host the annual Rising Star competition in Concord on November 7. The awards recognize exceptional young professionals, initiatives to keep them here and the businesses that go the extra mile to recruit and retain them. Honorees are highlighted in the November issue of Business NH Magazine.
 
St. Joseph Hospital was selected for creating a workplace that combines fun, accountability and recognition to its employees. Employees are given tuition reimbursement options along with onsite educational resources. Being a 24/7 operation, the hospital provides flexible work schedules. In addition, the hospital has partnered with iUGO, Nashua's young professional group, to host community kickball and dodgeball tournaments to encourage those young at heart to keep moving and get active.
