If Pease Tradeport is the economic hive of the Seacoast, then consider Renee Plummer, vice president of marketing for Two International Group, its queen bee. Two International Group is credited with playing a major role in making the Tradeport the economic engine it is today. And Plummer is a master networker with an enviable list of contacts.
She is a force! Renee is involved in many community activities and is known by all to be a mover and a shaker. She knows who to contact and how to get things done, says one of the leaders who nominated her.
Plummer has volunteered with events such as Exeter Hospital's annual Snow Ball (which she started) and the Boston-Portsmouth Air Show. When political candidates want to hob knob with Portsmouth's power brokers, it happens in Plummer's dining room. Plummer loves to cook and throw dinner parties to connect people. Most recently, she played host for presidential candidates John Huntsman and Rick Santorum, and hosted an informal professional development series for MBA students at the University of NH and Southern NH University that includes successful area business people. I like to help people. And in return, I can call them. I'm never going to do it for the wrong reasons, Plummer says. [New Hampshire] has been very good to me, so I feel I should give something back.
