NH Job Training Fund Grants $79K to 5 Companies

Five companies received $78,908 in job training grants from the NH Job Training Fund to help train 123 workers in new skills. The companies contributed matching funds to bring the total amount of available funds for training workers to $227,820.

Northpoint Engineering LLC in Pembroke, a civil engineering, land planning and construction services firm, received up to $5,028 for five employees to receive training in Civil 3D AutoCad from Imaginit Technologies, a training firm for architects and engineers with NH headquarters in Bedford.

Rapid Manufacturing LLC in Nashua, a manufacturer of sheet metal and machined parts, received $65,000 for 65 employees to enroll in five different leadership courses at Velocity Performance in Nashua, a business management consultant company.

DeStefano Architects LLC in Portsmouth, a commercial and residential firm, received $2,163 to train four employees in the Deltek Vision HR Planning software provided by Central Consulting Group, a Minnesota-based firm which specializes in Vision training and support services. DeStefano was one of Business NH Magazine's "10 to Watch" companies in 2015.

Benson Woodworking Company, Inc. in Walpole, a design/build firm of housing structures, received $5,700 to train 32 employees in Systems Integration and Lean Manufacturing at Tandem Training & Consulting in Keene.

Nipro Consumer Health in Lancaster, a manufacturer of pharmaceutical and personal care products, received $1,017 for 17 employees to receive training in MS Office Suite at White Mountains Community College in Berlin.

The Job Training Fund has distributed $8,557,667 in grants since October 2007, with employers contributing $11,314,498 in matching funds for a total of $19,872,165 in new training for 25,023 NH workers.
